You will get to know interesting “Palafitos” areas, wooden churches, local markets, great overviews, and other unique places that we consider the most important to discover in the city and to understand how the city works. CASTRO CITY TOUR - FULL DAY
Our local bilingual guide(better meeting point main plaza) will pick you up at your place of accommodation. From there, we will only walk and use public transportation, in order to discover Castro city’s main spots. You will get to know interesting “Palafitos” areas, wooden churches, local markets, great overviews, and other unique places that we consider the most important to discover in the city and to understand how the city works.
After getting to know Castro on your own feet, you will use your private transportation to be taken to discover Dalcahue which is a city on the island of Chiloe where you will find three wooden churches that were declared world heritage by Unesco. Besides, Dalcahue channel and see the richness of its nature. Then, you will visit Chonchi, which is another city famous for its interesting architecture made mostly out of cypress wood, such as one of its famous churches. You will meet locals and also see how people live there.
After this unforgettable tour, our guide will leave you again safely at your place of accommodation.
